"Plenty of power and honestly makes my commute more fun"
I’ve been really happy with my Aventon Bikes so far. The motor has a nice kick to it, but not in that jerky, startling way, which I appreciate especially on tired mornings. It climbs hills way better than I thought it would, and that’s put me in a much better mood on my commute. Even with my backpack loaded up, it keeps a steady pace and doesn’t feel like it’s struggling. The pedal assist comes on smoothly and just makes the whole ride feel easier. No power issues at all so far, it feels solid every time I hop on...

"Parts can be a bit hit or miss"
The bike itself has been fine — no real complaints there. It’s just the replacement parts that get kind of annoying. Some things are easy enough to find, but then other parts will be out of stock for a while, and you’re just stuck waiting. Support did get back to me, to be fair, just not exactly quickly. So yeah... not a terrible experience, but it could definitely be smoother...

"Battery has been way better than I expected"
I’ve been happy with the battery so far. I can ride to work and back a few times before I even think about charging it, and it hasn’t done any of those annoying sudden drops. Like, I’ve used it for commuting, quick grocery runs, riding over to a friend’s place, and even a couple longer weekend rides, and it’s been holding up really well. I expected to be plugging it in all the time, but so far the range has been better than I thought

"App and Display Work Really Well"
I’ve found the app very easy to use, and the display is nice and clear. Overall, it works exactly as expected, which is always a win.

"Actually a really solid bike so far"
I’ve taken it out for a few rides now, and it actually feels really well put together. The frame feels sturdy, the welds look clean, and I haven’t noticed any rattling or weird noises. Happy with the build so far.

"Pretty comfy overall, just a bit stiff here and there"
For everyday riding it’s been comfortable, like I don’t really think about it most of the time, which is kind of the point I guess. Every now and then it does feel a little stiff, especially on rougher spots, but nothing that really bothers me too much. Overall, it’s a nice, easy ride for daily use.

My box did show up, but it got here later than I expected. The tracking info wasn’t super clear either, so I kept checking it like, okay where is it now lol. Not a huge deal, just kinda a slow and confusing delivery experince.

"Warranty return was such a hassle"
My warranty return dragged on for weeks, and support just kept saying they were “looking into it.” Looking into it, looking into it, but nothing actually changed. I still don’t have a refund or a fix, so yeah, it was frustrating. I don’t think I’d order from them again

"Nice ride, but I wish I’d paid more attention to the brakes"
I’ve had my Aventon for a few months now, it’s a good bike overall. It rides smooth and I’ve enjoyed using it, but I do kind of regret not looking more into the brakes before buying. They work, but they don’t always feel as firm as I’d like, especially when I’m going downhill or riding around traffic.
I had them adjusted, and that definitely helped a little, but I still find myself checking them more than I should before rides. For what I paid, I just expected to feel a bit more secure when stopping. It’s not a bad bike at all, but the brakes keep me from fully feeling great about it

"Decent bike, but the rack situation wore me out"
The bike itself seems good, but I’m mentally drained from dealing with the accessories. The rack was supposed to fit, but it didn’t line up like they said it would, and trying to figure it out was just frustrating

"Pretty easy to get set up"
The bike showed up packed really well and it was easy enough to put together, it took me around an hour start to finish mostly because I kept stopping to tweak the seat and handlebars and make sure everything felt right, but the instructions made sense and I didn’t run into any real problems
